My Approach - How I deliver results
I am an experienced, business-focused coach. I am passionately enthusiastic about using my skills and expertise to engage with people to help them to achieve their key goals and ambitions.
Everything is focused on achieving the client's agenda.
I establish positive relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
I help clients shine a light on ways in which they can inspire themselves to excel. Success is secured through an experience which I firmly believe should be illuminating, challenging, energising and enjoyable. I know that coaching relationships can unlock unrealised potential by providing a uniquely powerful way of enabling people to take control and make the right choices for themselves.
The following sums up my philosophy.
You may not be able to choose what events happen to you, but you can certainly choose how you react to them.
Additionally, I am extremely interested in helping people to think through, and prepare for, the next phase of their lives if they are considering making a significant change in their working arrangements. This might be adjusting their circumstances by reducing the amount of time they spend on paid work to re-balance their lives.
I encourage people to take control of their circumstances so they can take charge of their own destiny. Usually the perceived barriers which prevent people making progress are built by them and therefore can simply be taken down by them. This enables them to make the most of opportunities that present themselves.
I firmly believe that, with proper consideration, this ought to be the best time of your life. This is the time to create a better quality of life, something that, typically after many years of full-on hard work, is well deserved. Retirement, for example, is not the end of something ̶ it is the beginning of a new set of exciting possibilities. A time to adjust your focus in a way which you choose; a mix which might include spending more time with the family, concentrating on much cherished hobbies, trying something you have always wanted to do, or perhaps ‘giving something back’ by supporting not-for-profit organisations.
